I am a big fan of Kenny Loggins' voice and music. This song has been something of a lifelong anthem and is always helpful in rallying a robust spirit to deal with the knocks of everyday life. His powerful voice and especially the production on his upbeat numbers make them wonderful motivators. That said, i also love 'For the first time' and 'Meet me half way' - two ballads that always move me emotionally. What a legend! Late 1980, and Kenny's 'I'm alright' was a big hit in America and i took it to heart immediately, and 35 years later it still sounds amazing.
